The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to hospice patients in their homes and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for developing and implementing care plans, educating families, and ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license and possess at least two years of clinical nursing experience. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required to perform home visits.
Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and/or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact. Current driver’s license.
Two (2) years experience as a registered nurse in a clinical care setting. Hospice experience preferred.
Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Specialized skills preferred in palliation and end-of-life. Must read, write and comprehend English.
Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
