The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. They are responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities within the organization's policies.
Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program and eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. A BLS certification is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
Education Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State Work Experience 2 years of experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Required Business
