Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and cardiology procedures while adhering to safety protocols and ALARA programs. Ensures all quality control procedures are conducted in compliance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
Requires graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program and current CNMT or NMTCB registration. Candidates must also possess BLS certification and a thorough knowledge of radiation safety and radiopharmaceuticals.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:None MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Either CNMT or NMTCB registered. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:? BLS Certified ? Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations. Business
