The Occupational Therapist supervises and implements therapeutic techniques for patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or diseases. They are responsible for coordinating therapy services, evaluating patient progress, and delegating tasks to licensed assistants.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy program and certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Registration under state statutes is required for practice.
