The technician is responsible for cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment. They also prepare surgery trays for patient procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably prior experience in a medical setting. Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices is highly desired.
Company Description We are seeking a meticulous Sterilization Technician to join our busy dermatology practice in Colchester, VT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sterility in our dermatology facility to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment Prepare surgery trays for patient procedures follow infection control protocols and guidelines
Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices is preferred Experience with maintaining medical records is a plus
