The Medical Assistant provides clinical support to physicians by obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, and maintaining medical documentation. They are also responsible for triaging patient calls and assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of patient care experience in a physician's office and possess a High School Diploma or GED. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, while an Associate degree and Certified Medical Assistant status are preferred.
