The Inpatient RN will perform vascular access procedures, specifically PICC line placements, within the hospital setting. The role involves providing high-quality patient care while adhering to shared governance structures and clinical standards.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current Illinois RN license. The position requires two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience, along with active CPR, ACLS, and PICC certifications.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience 2 years of recent medical surgical or related nursing experience. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois and required certification for respective nursing departments. Required Bi-annual CPR and ACLS certification. Required Successful completion of the UW Health PICC certification program within 6 months.
