The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for examinations, perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and injections, and maintain clinical documentation. They will also coordinate patient care, manage office supplies, and assist with front office administrative tasks.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed a qualified Medical Assistant course. A Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential and Basic Life Safety certification are required.
The Certified Medical Assistant assists in preparation for patient care, provides care coordination, clinical documentation, and other clinical support functions in a physician practice office setting.
