The Certified Medical Assistant provides clinical support, including preparing patients for examinations and performing medical tests like EKGs and phlebotomy. They also handle care coordination, clinical documentation, and front office administrative tasks.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, completion of a qualified Medical Assistant course, and be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant with BLS certification. Previous experience in a medical office or OBGYN specialty is preferred but not required.
The Certified Medical Assistant assists in preparation for patient care, provides care coordination, clinical documentation, and other clinical support functions in a physician practice office setting.
High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of qualified Medical Assistant course.
License/Certification Requirements • Minimum: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant and Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
