The Occupational Therapist evaluates, develops, and implements treatment plans for children and adults with autism in a clinical setting. They also supervise assistants, maintain patient records, and collaborate with the care team to ensure compliance with regulations.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum and hold current CPR certification. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred.
A graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. CPR certification for all age groups. Experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred but not required.
