Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Ob/Gyn

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional medical care in a dynamic environment within the medical practice industry.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care. This role is essential in supporting our commitment to providing quality healthcare services in the community.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations Diagnose and manage various medical conditions related to Ob/Gyn Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Participate in on-call duties as required

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology 3+ years of clinical experience in Ob/Gyn Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Current medical license to practice in the state of Arizona Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

1:4 weeknight and weekend beeper call rotation

Annual Volume: ~250 deliveries

Daily Clinic Volume: 12-14 patients

Support Staff: Midwives

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
