Administer anesthesia and monitor vital signs for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to develop care plans and manage patient recovery.
Requires an associate degree in anesthesia and board certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or CRNA. Experience in cardiac anesthesiology is preferred along with proficiency in Epic EMR.
This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to work within the field of anesthesiology, specifically in cardiac anesthesiology, where you will play a crucial role in patient care.
In this position, you will collaborate with anesthesiologists and other medical professionals to provide high-quality anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional medical services, ensuring patient safety, and enhancing overall surgical outcomes.
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluate patient medical histories Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and safety Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and cardiac practices Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Associate degree in Anesthesia or related field Certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or CRNA Experience in cardiac anesthesiology preferred Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9a-7p or 11a-7p
Weekend call shifts available
