Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures. Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care provided Manage post-anesthesia recovery for patients Stay current with best practices in anesthesia and patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Current certification as a CRNA Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations Experience in a variety of surgical settings is a plus

Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday

No call shifts

Setting: OR and outpatient surgery center

Patient Volume: 10 per day

23 total ORs

Cases: Bread & butter, GI, plastics, orthopedics, gyn

Must be comfortable with high-acuity GI cases

Care team model, medically directed

EMR: Epic
