Responsibilities

Perform surgical procedures on pediatric patients Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations Collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists Provide comprehensive patient care and support Document patient history and treatment plans accurately Participate in surgical rounds and case discussions Educate patients and families about surgical procedures Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in surgery

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Pediatric Surgery Valid medical license to practice in the state Experience in a pediatric surgical setting is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Knowledge of current medical practices and technologies

Schedule: Friday-Sunday (24-hour call), 2 weekends per month

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
