The Locum MD will diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions while performing necessary procedures and interpreting diagnostic studies. They will also collaborate with the medical team to ensure high standards of patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
Candidates must hold an MD degree from an accredited medical school and possess board certification in Cardiology. An active medical license in the state of practice and proficiency in interventional cardiology procedures are required.

As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions, performing necessary procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of medical service and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular issues Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient care Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients about heart health and preventive measures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in case reviews and contribute to departmental goals Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
MD degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Cardiology or equivalent Active medical license in the state of practice Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Prior experience in a cardiology setting is preferred Commitment to continuous professional development and education
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 3-7 days per month
Setting: Inpatient/EMTALA call
Patient Population: Adults
Procedures, general cardiology consults as needed, and reading studies (including EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests)
Balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasties, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart catheterizations, and coronary angiograms
Support Staff: 2 interventional cardiologists
