The Locum MD will diagnose and treat neurological conditions while performing surgical procedures and managing patient recovery plans. They will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and maintain accurate patient records.
Candidates must hold a medical degree from an accredited institution and a valid medical license to practice in Washington State. Completion of a neurosurgery residency and board certification or eligibility are required.
This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within the fast-paced and critical field of neurosurgery.
As a Locum MD in Neurosurgery, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical services while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions, performing surgeries, and contributing to patient management and recovery plans. Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat various neurological disorders Perform neurosurgical procedures with precision and care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Participate in continuous education and training sessions
Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in Washington State Completion of a residency in Neurosurgery Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and education Prior experience in a similar locum role is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Daily Volume: 8 clinic patients, 3 procedures
Outpatient clinic appointments, surgical procedures, post-operative rounding, consultations, etc.
EMR: CPRS
Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
