The Locum Pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical care to children and adolescents, including attending deliveries and performing necessary procedures. Responsibilities also include diagnosing conditions, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and possess an active medical license in the state of practice. Board certification or eligibility is required, along with experience in pediatric care and proficiency with EMR systems.

Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients Conduct thorough examinations and assessments Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Communicate effectively with patients and their families Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals Stay informed about advancements in pediatric medicine
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active medical license in the state of practice Experience in pediatric care (Associate level preferred) Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule: 7x 24-hour call shifts per month
Daily Volume: 2-3 patients
Attend vaginal deliveries if requested, attend all scheduled and emergent c-sections, admit/discharge newborns, admit/care for pediatric patients, and perform circumcisions
Required Procedures: Circumcisions, newborn resuscitation/intubations/UVC, and lumbar punctures
Support Staff: Nurses, anesthesia, OB/GYNs, respiratory therapists, and local pediatricians
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
