This on-site, contract position is based in Richmond and offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the medical practice industry.

As a Locum MD/DO, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their unborn children. Your expertise will be crucial in managing high-risk pregnancies and ensuring the health and safety of both mother and child. This role will involve collaboration with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and will allow you to contribute to the advancement of maternal fetal medicine practices.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies Conduct prenatal assessments and ultrasounds Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare providers Develop and implement treatment plans for patients Educate patients on pregnancy health and fetal development Monitor and evaluate maternal and fetal health Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Requirements

MD or DO degree with a specialization in Maternal Fetal Medicine Associate-level experience in a clinical setting Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Strong clinical skills and knowledge of maternal fetal medicine Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Current medical license to practice in the state

Flexible schedule

Setting: Inpatient & outpatient

Level III Nursery: 3 exam rooms and ultrasound onsite

Patient Volume: 27 per day

Patient Population: 95% high-risk, 5% low-risk

Support Staff: NP, RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team

EMR: Epic, Viewpoint

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
