Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures and provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative patient care. Collaborate with the surgical team, participate in rounds, and manage consultations in a Level I Trauma hospital setting.
Requires an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Candidates must hold a valid medical license to practice in Nebraska and possess significant surgical experience.

As a Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will play a critical role in our surgical team, providing expert care to patients requiring complex heart and chest procedures. Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures with precision and care Evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical staff Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records Participate in surgical rounds and case discussions Provide consultations and follow-up care for patients Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in cardiothoracic surgery Adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery Valid state medical license to practice in Nebraska Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, preferably in a hospital setting Strong surgical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice Level I Trauma
Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
Duties: Hospital rounds on CTS patients, OP and IP consults, OR coverage for cardiac surgery, and some thoracic trauma

Must be board-certified
