The intern will participate in initial assessments, support the development of person-centered plans, and assist with individual and group therapy sessions. They will also collaborate with the multidisciplinary ACT team to provide community-based behavioral health services and support client independence.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to mental health, human services, psychology, social work, or counseling. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a commitment to professional ethics are required.

This internship offers a meaningful opportunity to learn within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team while supporting adults living with serious mental health challenges and co‑occurring substance use disorders.
The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team delivers intensive, community‑based services designed to help individuals achieve stability, independence, and improved quality of life.
This is a hands‑on learning experience that takes place in real‑world community settings, not a traditional office or facility environment.
