The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of patients seeking medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
Candidates must have a Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing or as a physician assistant, with an active, unrestricted state license. New graduates are welcome to apply, and experience in emergency room, primary care, or psychiatric settings is beneficial.

Porch Light Health is looking for a certified Physician Assistant, and/or Nurse Practitioner to work in the specialty of Addiction Medicine. We encourage new grads to apply as we will train you in the Addiction Medicine specialty. This job is 40 hours per week, clinic-based, located in Denver, Colorado. The medical Provider will see patients in clinic as well as via telehealth. This job involves travel to clinic sites in Denver, CO. You would be helping persons suffering from addiction or substance use disorder such as alcohol, opioids, stimulants, and benzodiazepines, etc. No prior addiction medicine experience is necessary. Emergency Room, Primary care, or psych experience is helpful. Must have an interest in helping underserved populations and be willing to learn new concepts. The ability to administer intramuscular medication by injection is required.
Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing (APRN), physician assistant (PA), or other related field. Licensing & Certification: Active, unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). DEA required.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams. Understanding of regulatory compliance and documentation requirements in MAT settings.
$115,000.00 - $125,000.00 The base salary offered will depend on various factors such as schedule, education, experience, geographical location, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
