Hours: Four 10-hour shifts, 7am to 530P with Required Call.
Call
Rotating every 4th weekend and 1 day during the week from 5p to 7a. Sign on bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates
About the department: The Sentara RMH Heart and Vascular team is comprised of cardiologists, electrophysiologist, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, and interventional cardiologists who’ve received their education and training at some of the finest medical schools in the nation. They are committed to providing high quality heart and vascular services to our community. The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II performs complex invasive interventional procedures such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician while adhering to interventional and procedural policies and protocols: provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply of inventory for performing examinations; participates in departmental performance improvement activities.
