The registered nurse independently performs direct patient care and coordinates comprehensive care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals. They are responsible for delegating tasks, advocating for patients, and ensuring all clinical documentation is accurately recorded in EPIC.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing or a BSN, along with a current Texas nursing license and at least one year of relevant experience. Essential certifications include BLS, PALS, and other department-specific life support credentials.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
