The Radiology Technologist interprets doctor's orders to perform radiography procedures and instructs patients accordingly. They are also responsible for operating x-ray equipment, administering contrast materials, and reviewing radiographs for quality.
Candidates must be licensed and registered as a Radiology Technologist with the NYS Department of Health and hold ARRT certification. Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology training program and current BLS certification are also required.
