The Coder is responsible for the accurate assignment of medical codes for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. They must ensure all coding adheres to official guidelines and departmental policies while interacting with medical staff and patients.
Candidates must hold a current RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification. Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems is required.
