The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages a caseload of patients by collecting health assessment data, diagnosing conditions, and initiating treatments. They also serve as an educational resource for families and staff while participating in departmental quality improvement programs.
Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing and a current valid license as a registered nurse in Texas. Additionally, two years of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience and NNP-BC certification are required.
