The Hospice Aide will provide direct patient care to patients under the direction of the RN and according to the established Plan of Care, including assisting with safe transfers and ambulation. Responsibilities also include appropriately reporting changes, documenting care provided, practicing infection control, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Candidates must possess an unencumbered CNA license and ideally have at least one year of experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a relevant facility setting. Applicants must also demonstrate a heart for compassionate care, high integrity, and possess a current driver's license with reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.

Provide direct patient care to patient under direction of the RN and according to the Hospice Aide/Homemaker Plan of Care. Provide necessary skills to assist the patient with safe transfers and ambulation per agency policy Provide necessary skills to appropriately report/communicate changes and document pertinent information and care provided to patient to ensure continuity of care. Practice accepted infection control principles. Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees Timely submission of all documentation Performance of other duties as required Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures We are looking for a compassionate, talented and experienced Hospice Aide that is experienced in customer service and eager to join an exciting organization.
