The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for providing patient care activities under the supervision of physicians, advanced practice providers, or registered nurses. They must adhere to established clinical guidelines and standards within a surgical oncology setting.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have completed an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program. A valid BCLS certification and a CMA-AAMA or NCMA certification are required for the position.
