The technician is responsible for performing accurate clinical laboratory tests, maintaining quality control standards, and documenting all test results and corrective actions. They must also calibrate laboratory equipment, manage inventory, and effectively communicate findings to physicians and nursing staff.
Candidates must hold an associate or bachelor degree in a relevant scientific field and possess a recognized certification such as MLS, MLT, or CLS. At least one year of clinical laboratory experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
