What You'll Do

Evaluate and treat residents in Assisted Living & Independent Living communities focusing on speech, language and cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs Create personalized, functional treatment plans that improve communication, cognition, memory, and safe swallowing Deliver therapy that integrates into residents routines—making care practical, relevant and impactful Partner with caregivers, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to create strong, collaborative care plans Empower residents and families through education on communication strategies, cognitive support and swallowing safety Track progress, celebrate wins and continuously adapt care plans to drive meaningful outcomes

Qualifications

Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or license eligible in the state of practice Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults
