Provide basic nursing care needs for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a nurse. Coordinate with the therapy team to ensure successful patient recovery and maintain a safe, compassionate environment.
Must be currently enrolled in an RN nursing program and beginning the final semester of nursing school. Candidates are required to pass Patient Care Orientation within 30 days and obtain AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

PRN About Us - Orthopedics Located on the fourth floor of the Tower at Freeman Hospital West 29-bed unit providing post-operative care to adult patients following Orthopedic trauma, head injury, and scheduled joint or spine surgery We provide a patient-centered approach to helping patients return to their best by coordinating efforts with our therapy team to help ensure a successful recovery Our focus is on building a team-centered work environment where compassion is key, patient safety is paramount, and you will have the ability to make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families What You’ll Do Under The Direction/Supervision Of A Nurse, Provides Basic Nursing Care Needs For Assigned Patients.
