The Housing and Employment Coordinator builds community partnerships to secure housing and employment resources for families affected by substance exposure. They provide direct care coordination and support clients in achieving economic self-sufficiency and stability goals.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a social services field and possess at least two years of relevant experience in case management and substance use populations. Proficiency in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing is required, along with the ability to travel within the designated service area.
CDAC Behavioral Healthcare is looking for someone to join our Substance Exposed Newborn/Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (SEN/NAS) program into Circuit 2 and 14 (Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Wakulla, Bay Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington). This program supports families who are experiencing, or at risk for, SEN/NAS. This position does require some travel throughout the service area, to include transporting clients, thus the candidate must be living within the Circuit 2 and 14 area counties.
The Housing and Employment Coordinator is responsible for building relationships with community stakeholders, finding resources for housing and employment stabilization, and meet with clients to assist them in establishing stability in these areas. Provide care coordination to address other areas as needed, maintain agency and community relationships, support program reporting and evaluation, and support compliance with all delivery of services in support of the core values and mission of CDAC.
