The Physical Therapist Assistant performs patient care according to established plans and ensures compliance with APTA standards. They also provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote physical therapy services within the community.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree and an active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Kansas. Additionally, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and BLS certification are required.
Performs delivery of care following physical therapy plans of care and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.
