Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients in an acute care setting. Provide clinical supervision to support staff and advocate for physical therapy services within the organization.
Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and licensure or eligibility for licensure in Kansas. Must obtain CPR and BLS certifications within the specified timeframe.
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, create individualized plans of care, and ensure the delivery of prescribed treatments to patients in accordance with best practices established by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the State of Kansas regulations. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Advocate for physical therapy services and foster professional development initiatives within the organization and wider community. Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
Job Requirements Graduation from an accredited PT Program Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist. Must obtain CPR certification prior to start BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements Previous experience in the medical setting or a rehabilitation setting
