The Direct Support Professional works directly with individuals with developmental disabilities to assist with daily living activities. They support clients in both home and community settings to help them reach their personal goals.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Applicants must be able to pass all required background checks.

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to work with the people we support as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Caregiver. Our residential locations in Council Bluffs, IA are looking for Evenings 3-11pm or weekends Saturday and Sunday.
Works directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities. Supports individuals with activities and developing skills in a home environment and in community settings.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.
