The physical therapist performs patient evaluations, establishes plans of care, and ensures the delivery of prescribed therapy services. They also provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote physical therapy services within the organization and community.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy and an active Kansas state license. A BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and previous experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department.
