The technologist performs technical skills during cardiac and vascular procedures in the catheterization and electrophysiology labs. They are responsible for operating highly technical equipment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate documentation.
Candidates must hold or be eligible for RCIS or RCES certification and possess Basic Life Support certification. Graduation from an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology or electrophysiology is required.
