The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assists licensed independent practitioners with interventional techniques. They are responsible for maintaining patient safety, documenting imaging orders, and providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
Candidates must hold a certification from ARRT(S), RDMS, CCI, or RVT and possess at least one year of relevant work experience. Graduation from an accredited program in medical, cardiac, or vascular sonography or radiologic technology is required.
