The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, kitchens, and restrooms according to established schedules. They also support the facility's mission by upholding customer service standards and performing general building maintenance tasks.
Candidates must have the ability to read and write. They must also possess the physical capability to perform tasks involving bending, stretching, and lifting moderate to heavy loads.

1. Vacuum, mop and dust all areas per established schedule using approved cleaners.
1. Clean kitchen and all restrooms per established schedule using approved cleaners.
1. Clean patient rooms using approved cleaners.
1. Change bed linens as needed, both with patient in bed and with patient out of bed, as required by patient’s ability to ambulate.
1. Ability to utilize safe and proper body mechanics in performing job duties.
1. Keep patient care areas clean and free of trash as necessary throughout day.
1. Stock supplies in kitchen and all restrooms.
1. Water plants.
1. Clean front doors and windows.
1. Empty and clean trash cans daily.
1. Use carpet broom daily.
1. Pick up litter from parking lot and sweep front entrance daily.
1. Rake leaves around building as needed.
1. Other duties and special projects as requested.
