The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse and collaborates with the nursing team to implement care plans. They provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families while ensuring compliance with nursing standards.
Candidates must hold a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and be certified to administer medications. A diploma program in practical nursing is required, and IV certification is preferred.
Progressive Care Unit Shift: 7:00p - 7:30a, 72 hours per pay Facility: Atrium Medical Center General Summary/Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others
