The pharmacist is responsible for verifying physician orders and dispensing medications while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe patient outcomes. They also supervise pharmacy staff and contribute to quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Candidates must hold a B.S. in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an ACPE accredited college and possess a current pharmacist license in the practicing state. Prior hospital experience and involvement in clinical rounding are highly preferred.
