Provides culturally sensitive and developmentally appropriate basic patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, assisting with hygiene, and supporting the interdisciplinary medical team.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Candidates must have at least one year of work-related experience in a similar role.
Under the leadership of the departmental Nursing Director and the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Agency Certified Nursing Assistant provides culturally sensitive, developmentally appropriate patient care. The Agency Certified Nursing Assistant works under close supervision of a licensed nurse and performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs of patients.
• Education:
Requires and maintains a Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
