Responsible for administering ionizing radiation to patients according to oncologist prescriptions while ensuring precise exposure to targeted areas. The role involves managing quality control, safety protocols, and potentially mentoring students or less experienced staff.
Requires a High School Diploma/GED, BLS certification, and RT (T) registration or eligibility. Candidates must hold or obtain a license from the Indiana State Department of Health and possess extensive technical knowledge of radiation oncology equipment.
This position is full time, days. The shift is Monday-Friday, at North Hospital. No on call or weekends.
