• Range: $29.00 - $39.00 HourlyApex Vets is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital seeking experienced ER technicians who want to work at a high level in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a hands-on role focused on real emergency medicine—not basic support work. QualificationsResponsibilities Monitor and manage hospitalized patients Obtain histories, perform TPRs, and report changes in condition Place and maintain IV catheters (peripheral and central) Administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral) Perform blood draws and run in-house diagnostics Assist with anesthesia and emergency procedures Take radiographs and support diagnostic workflows Calculate and administer fluids and CRIs Provide wound care and bandaging Maintain accurate medical records Communicate clearly with doctors, team members, and clients Requirements LVT / RVT / CVT preferred ER or critical care experience preferred Strong technical and clinical skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, team-oriented, and accountable Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Continuing education support Career growth and advancement opportunities On-site gym, wellness room, and large break space Why Apex Vets Independently owned (no corporate structure) High-acuity caseload with real clinical exposure Technicians utilized at the top of their skillset Team-focused environment with clear expectations
