The LPN is responsible for diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health problems for residents in an adult family shelter. Key duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team of social services and psychiatric staff.
Candidates must have completed an accredited LPN program and hold a valid license in the state of New York. Preferred qualifications include bilingual skills and the ability to work independently with a diverse adult population.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Completion of accredited program and licensed in New York as an LPN. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to assist adult males of diverse ethnicities, backgrounds, ages, and sexual preferences. Bilingual preferred.
