Provide high-level technical ultrasound skills for the diagnosis and evaluation of OB/Gyn and Maternal-Fetal Medicine patients. Maintain equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with faculty and staff to optimize clinical workflow.
Requires an Associate's degree in Ultrasound Technology and at least 2 years of OB/Gyn ultrasound experience, including 1 year in MFM. Must hold ARDMS and BLS certifications, with Fetal Echo certification required within two years.
JOB SUMMARY Works under supervision of Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Faculty, MFM Sono Supervisor, and AP Sonographer to provide professional and high-level technical skills involving use of ultrasound in medical diagnosis and evaluation of OB/Gyn and MFM patients. Performs both clinical and/or research protocols. Aware of AIUM standards and ensures compliance.

Required Education Associate's Degree in Ultrasound Technology or Graduate of Accredited Sonography Program Experience 2 years of experience in OB/Gyn ultrasound including 1 year of MFM ultrasound experience Clinical training at UTSW may be considered as experience. Licenses and Certifications American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS Registry) Upon Hire (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification credited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) Upon Hire Fetal Echo (FE) required certification within 2 Years Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree
