Provide recovery-oriented coaching, mentoring, and rehabilitative services to members through one-to-one and group sessions. Assist members with daily living skills, community resource navigation, and coordination with clinical teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Requires a high school diploma with 2 years of behavioral health experience, or a degree in a behavioral health field, plus lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery. Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification, and complete peer support training within one year.
At least 21 years of age High School/GED + 2 years’ behavioral health experience or Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a behavioral health field, and Graduation from Peer Support training, required within one year of employment Must identify as an individual with lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder, who has been successful in their recovery for the purpose of guiding others. Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to implement organization-wide activities (setting objectives, developing strategies, developing policies and procedures for programming, and organizing the functions necessary to accomplish the activities) Valid Arizona Driver’s license, Driver’s license is an essential requirement for performing duties for this position with a Clean Motor Vehicle Record - no more than 2 moving violations or a license suspension in past 3 years. Current 1st Aid and CPR certification Proof of negative TB test results within the last year Fingerprint Clearance, if required by program.
