Operate various types of respiratory care equipment to diagnose and treat patients with respiratory diseases or illnesses. Provide therapy under the supervision of the Director or Assistant Director of Respiratory Care.
Must be licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting 30 pounds and performing a full range of body motions to pass a FIT test.

Under the supervision of the Director and/or the Assistant Director of Respiratory Care and upon the request of the physician, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment and provides therapy to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with respiratory disease, compromise or illness. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
