The Physician Assistant provides high-quality medical management and primary health care services for patients. They collaborate with physicians to coordinate and manage the overall process of patient care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited PA program with a Master's degree and hold a North Carolina PA license. Physical fitness is required to perform tasks such as lifting 25 pounds and maintaining a full range of body motion.
Description The Physician Assistant provides high-quality and cost-effective medical management of patients under the care of the physician and within the State scope of practice.
The Physician Assistant collaborates with the physician to coordinate and manage the process of patient care.
Provides expanded primary health care services for a case load of patients in the areas of clinical specialization.
Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program with a Master’s degree. Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) in North Carolina. Ability to work as member of a team. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Fundamental knowledge of PC based applications Good physical and mental fitness to meet the demands made by patients, families and physicians. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Intact sight and hearing with or without assistive devices is required.
