Promotes optimal drug utilization and coordinates safe, cost-effective medication therapy for pediatric patients. Provides oversight of pharmacy technician activities and conducts clinical research to improve drug therapy.
Requires a degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school and a current Minnesota pharmacy license. BLS certification is required, while a PharmD and pediatric residency are preferred.

Provides information to all customers/clients to promote optimal utilization of drugs. Coordinates the delivery of effective, safe, and cost effective drug therapy to all patients. Conducts clinical and pharmacoeconomic research in support of the hospital's medical staffs and to improve drug therapy. Provides daily oversight of pharmacy technician activities.
*Graduate from a college/school of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) OR graduate from a foreign college of pharmacy that has at least a five-year curriculum and has passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and become certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Commission (FPGEC), required. *Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution, preferred. *Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota current or within three months of start date. *Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or within three months of hire, required. *Institutional or retail experience preferred depending on position. *Pediatric Residency, preferred.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
